DUNA SCREEN

The inspiration for the Duna screen was derived from a journe through the Thar Desert in India, where sand dunes form wave patterns in perpetual motion. There are beautiful shadows - especially in that short time when the light is at a low angle across the sand.

The Duna screen sways slightly if you give it a gentle push.
Its movement has the same rhythm as the oasis palms, when they are caught by a breeze.

The shape of the Duna slats and the play of the shadows on them have associations with shapes in the nature - beach, sand dunes, water etc. The wave-shaped salts produce a living play of light, with patterns that change throughout the day.
