TRAVELLING CHAIR

The chair has three parts - seat, base and back - made of wooden strips that have not been form-stressed and which are therefore flat when the chair is packed.

In use, the back is raised sp that the base and seat are forced apart. This achieves the statics that maintains the chair's shape.

Because the wood is not form-stressed, the chair has a certain springiness which makes it particularly comfortable.
