ARMCHAIR

The armchair, made from maple and aluminum, is an addition to a series of chairs the first of which, "Chair No. 4", was launched at the 1994 furniture fair.

The chair displayed is Tranekær's prototype. The development process is almost complete. Production and sale can begin shortly.

The striped chair in maple and pearwood, made by Bo Haugesen, is a variant. In this experimental design, some of the elements have been cut away, as it may be possible to do without part of the structure. It is precisely this kind of experiment that SE permits. Visitors to the exhibition are invited to participate in the testing process.
