The wardrobe is suspended within four external uprights. It has a maple frame panelled with lacquered, perforated sheet steel.
The front doors open and close if pushed gently inwards. A double-track channel guides the doors along the inside of the wardrobe so they take up a minimum of space.
The wardrobe has a central shelving section in perforated steel sheet. There is a rail extending across the unit to provide hanging space on both sides of the wardrobe.
The frame and uprights are assembled with fittings and screws.
The wardrobe was made at Statens Værksteder for Kunst og Håndværk (the National Arts and Handcraft Workshop).
