STACKING CHAIR

DESIGN: ERLING CHRISTOFFERSEN  /  MADE BY MØRE MØBLER A/S
The idea was to create a casual, simple little stacking chair for cafés, canteens and homes.

The seat is the unifying element. The back pierces the round disc like an arrow shot through a "target" and the legs cut into the edge. The seat is moulded from polyurethane, the back is in form-stressed veneered beech and the legs are made from steel tubing.

The chairs stack closely, seat against seat, as the legs are embedded in the seat rather than fixed beneath.
